Eight Random Facts
Johan Yugen has tagged me to do the “Eight Randon Facts” meme.
Here are the rules:
(1) Each player starts with eight random facts/habits about themselves.
(2) People who are tagged need to write a post on their own blog (about their eight things) and post these rules.
(3) At the end of your blog, you need to choose eight people to get tagged and list their names.
(4) Don’t forget to leave them a comment telling them they’re tagged, and to read your blog.
OK, and here are my facts:
Fact 1: I love theatre. 14 years ago, I founded an amateur theatre group together with two friends and have been acting on stage regularly since then. Besides this, I have been working as a lighting technician in a theatre for seven years and I'm still doing it for a couple of kids/teens acting groups. Lately, I have been concentrating on improvisational theatre and next year I will be teaching a beginner's class for adults and try to show them the fascination of improvisation.
Fact 2: I'm a TV junkie. I love watching TV, especially crime or medical series. I watch a couple of series regularly and if I'm not home, I record them and watch them later. I won't even start mentioning names here, as that is a damn long list and this is supposed to be a (short) fact list, after all. Oh, and did I mention that I watch a lot of movies, too? ;-)
Fact 3: I live in a city with about 90.000 inhabitants. I was born here and have been living here all my life. At least the last three or four generations of my family have all been living here as well, so I can say that my roots are definitely in this city ;)
Fact 4: I like cats AND dogs. I have grown up with a dog and usually I get along with dogs pretty well, but I always liked cats as well and if I could choose now, I'd definitely choose a cat (which might be pretty obvious for a guy playing a neko avie ...).
Fact 5: I guess I can be called a geek. Besides my job as a web developer, I have always been fond of computers since I got my first "home computer" at the age of 12 (an Amstrad CPC 6128). So for more than 20 years I'm now addicted to all these technical things and love doing geeky things now and then (e.g. I'm watching a movie on an internet video-on-demand service while I write this blog post and at the same time read Twitter messages on my phone ...)
Fact 6: Even though I'm working on a computer at least eight hours per day, I still don't need glasses. But I fear that in the next months this might change, as I have the feeling that my eyesight is getting worse and I think I'll have to get my eyes checked soon.
Fact 7: I like being alone. As during my daily life, I have people around me most of the time, I really enjoy the moments of solitude, when I'm all by myself.
Fact 8: I don't live healthy. I eat meat, drink alcohol, don't do any sports and sometimes I smoke. Oh, and I love sweets as well. I know I need to change/adapt some of these habits, but for the moment, I'm comfortable with my life as it is and will let changes come in step by step. Radical changes like diets or intensive fitness training don't work for me, so I'll take it slow ;)
And this concludes my list of eight random facts. Dammit Timothy! How am I gonna tag 8 (eight!) bloggers, when 3 of the few I read are already tagged by you? :P

ok well since you mentioned my name i guess i will put up 8 random facts about myself
1: i have a super immune system, i never have been sick one day except for the commom flu
2:i hate cofee, not only the taste but also the smell.
3:for me white hair means wisdom, since i was 11 i have wanted white hair.
4:pizza and a glass of milk makes me the happiest man in the world.
5:all kind of hats look absolutly horrible on me.
6: i've been wearing glasses as young as 5 yo
7:if i dont drink orange juice in the morning i will feel weird for the rest of the day.
8:i use my cellphone as a flashlight when i'm somewehre dark
Ok, answered: Facts about me and gossip about the human. As for the improvisation drama, I did -heart- the 'worst way to...' the most. Worst way to open a fridge was hilarious! Or the one were we were a tv station that was taken hostage, running a cooking show, and in that cooking show had to alarm the visitors that they were taking hostage without the hostage takers noticing. *nostalgia mode on*
